Did the recent posts section get shorter?

Guys, I've changed it back to 100. Like sae said, it does cause the page to take longer to load because of more access to the forum's database and the additional time to render the page.

As long as it's not the cause of poor performance, I don't mind leaving it there at that length.

I check the REPLIES first and then the UNREAD.
As we get into warmer weather and things like grass start growing, i don't have as much time to read.  I don't have so much time for long replies  (you can applaud when i finish) ::)  I only have extra time on rainy days from now until later in the season.  The bother for me lately has been that for last three days, i could not even get on the site. All day each time. That causes all kinds of problems like shakes, dizziness, upset stomach, headaches..............  [blink][unsure]

I'm in my research of Festool modus as I'm considering getting on with some of the bigger items on my shopping list... So the site being down these last days has hit at a bad time, and I'm with Tinker on this one, dizziness, shakes, furtively clicking around the net trying to find anything that even remotely resembles the Fog but to no avail!

To me this is the Festool Storefront.. with attached refreshment stand, library, parts lists working tips. Probably the best Forum of any that I visit.. The Music and Photography Forums that I visit a lot have a lot of info, but it's to diffuse, and tone is often rude, and the subject matter is more difficult to categorise..

FOG is great, but it's sucked in everything Festool on the net and in a way there ought to be other forums independent of the Company..

You're free to start your own. There was TalkFestool, another forum about Festool, but it died out.

Don't know about other forums being negative about Festool as Tinker says. Maybe American forums. Not so much of a problem on European forums. But you have to speak the language like German, Dutch or French.

In English, if you google for Festool, very often the FOG is in the top 5 results, so naturally it becomes a nexus that sucks all traffic in.
