difference in sanders

Is the pad the only difference between dts400 and the rts400 sanders.
Could it be possible to get the other pad for either sander?

The sanders are indeed identical, except for the pad.

However, it is not possible to switch pads. I have the predecessor of these sanders, the DS400, and with that one it was possible to switch pads, but with the new one, Festool made sure it was not possible anymore.
