multi-position guides : http://www.dominoguide.com/

The above thread got me wondering about these.  I am just beginning to use my Domino 500 and really like it.  Can someone explain the differences and when you might you use one as compared to the other?  I know that it should be self evident but I am new to this machine as well as woodworking in general.

I haven't said anything publicly about this before, but the guides are being completely redesigned. Without going into the details yet, it will be one model guide, but be option-based (with a lot of possible options). A basic model would have manual multi-position stops, and a top-end model could have multiple self-centering positions, plus some new options not previously available.

The design has been complete for ages, but I finally have enough costing information to begin a partial production run soon.

Cool!  So I should probably just wait for the new model.  Thanks!

Rick,
Have you gotten any closer to completion on this? We E-mailed back and forth about this several weeks ago, but I have never heard any more. Are you closer to a ship date?
