Discontinued tools clarification

I'm looking on the FestoolUSA website, and I have some questions about some tools marked "discontinued":

I've noticed several of the stick fix sanding pads.  For example, 496150.  I'm assuming this is for the 150 series sanders?
If I'm correct, and this is being discontinued, what do we do when we inevitably wear out the stick fix pads from sanding when we forget to put the paper on (I'm sure I'm not the only one to do this)?

Are my worries unfounded?

That sanding pad is for the old style hole pattern.  Don't worry, there is an updated pad, and it will work with the new and old hole patterns.

Item #496150 actually is still a current product & available. It is the Hard Multi-Jetstream pad for 6" Random Orbit Sanders which replaced Jetstream pad #484850.
