A couple days last week it was sunny and mid to high 70's in my area. I do remember this SYS-MINI with transparent cover sitting outside my van during the day. It may have been in direct sunlight for a couple hours. Does anybody think that this was enough to trap/reflect heat within the container causing the insert to distort as shown in the images? I can't see this happening or even think it should fail like this. Now the lid does not maintain the driver bit compartments. No transporting this kit organized anymore [sad]. Major disappointment this morning when I opened this and thought...  [eek] happened to that insert. Looks like it got hit with a torch  [sad]

Black stuff absorbs heat from the sun.
Thermoplastic materials become pliable when hot.

What else have we forgotten in the 21st Century? [embarassed]

Put the thing upside down on a cookie tray in an oven pre-heated to 175*F.
After 10 min pull the tray out and put a piece of 3/4” plywood the same size as the organizer on top of the plastic and let it cool.
