Hello all.

DIY MFT build pictures.

Share some pictures from my attempt to build MFT.
Its 18mm MDF and hole size 3/4. 48"x 54".

Use a shelf hanger to as a jig to get my 96mm. After first row of holes, use alu 3/4 rod to guid router jig.
Have more pictures and forgot to take a picture of the finnish table. Will update to night.

Are you adding rails around the outside edge for cross cutting ?

Or is this just a work table with holes ??

Don't think I will add rails on this table. Planing to use if for assembly. But did some crosscut using the aluminum dogs I made if works fine. But planing on building a another one and add rails to.
So to answer you question. Yes its just a work table with holes.
Anybody have recommendation there and what kind of rails get? That works whit the quick clamps and festool guide. Will be appreciated.

Nice idea ! I use a melamine assembly table with holes and love it, being able to clamp/glue on it and pop the dried glue right off works perfect for me.

Its been very useful all ready for gluing up some big drawer boxes, edge banding. And I haven't finnish the table yet. Still need to cut out the big holes on the side so I can clean the dust and store tools, jigs and stuff under the table.

I also cut of the plastic jaw and bended some Irwin quick clamps, to work as clamps for clamping down stuff. Works ok for now. The melamine is little to slippery I think. But have some festool quick clamps coming soon and hope they will work better.
