First of all he idea for the jig is not mine i found it online in a video by Steve Maskery.
Planer blade sharpening was always a pain. I have 2 sets of blades and when i change them i need to send one set out for sharpening.
Of course i forget or postpone this and end up with two sets of dull blades.
This jig seemed simple and effective. You can use stones or sandpaper and get your blades back in working order in no time.
My planer blades are grinded at 42 degrees, so that is used in the example. Other angles work the exact same way.
What confused me was the angles. So i did some mock ups in sketchup and it turns out the jig can be cut very precisely and rapidly. you only need to set the angle
of your tablesaw blade once. since the centre block is for support only you could set the blade to the complementary angle if you wish
Anyways i tried to make a comprehensive pictorial, hope it makes sense

Edit: i had the angles mixed up in the pictures this should be right, if not let me know
