Hi Everone. Quick question. Im about to work with some Compact Laminated counter tops. The tutorial shows it to use biscuit jointer. Id rather use the Domino. Has anyone use Dominos on this material. Does it need a special cutter or will the standard cutters be acceptable. Thanks and look forward to your feedback

Usually the substrate of laminate countertops is like particle board melamine. When I get a job that requires melamine most of the joinery I do is dominoes. With quality melamine, even Titebond wood glue works great and I've stopped stocking the more expensive glues I used to use with melamine. It does dull the domino bits more quickly than wood or plywood, but the overall cost savings to me still makes it worthwhile. Not to mention the time savings from having to change out tooling, set them up, and work with another system.
