Do OF2200 accessories fit a OF2000?

A guy is selling a new old stock OF 2000 with only the basic parts it comes with, wrench, chip deflector, dust shoot.  No systainer, no extra anything.  My question is, now that it's discontinued, I would assume festool will no longer be making parts and accessories for that model, will the 2200 items fit or are they specific to that one model?    Thanks

I can speak a little on this, I bought one from Bob Marino on the Recon list. If you go to the Festool site, they actually DO have parts! Good luck!

Welcome to the forum.

The accessories for the OF 2200 are not compatible with the OF 2000. They are very different machines.

Like Chris said, we do still offer accessories for OF 2000. http://festoolusa.com/search/?q=of+2000

The OF 2000 basic originally did not come with a Systainer, which is likely why the seller doesn't have one for it. The Systainer insert should be available as a spare part from our service department but you may need to trim it to fit a T-LOC Systainer, or find a Classic Systainer for it.

Thanks. He's selling it for $360, which is more than festool has it listed for, but my attempts to find one anywhere else for sale proves futile.  There aren't too many accessories I would want for it and I'm pretty much thinking of buying it based on the horse power.  I currently own 10 routers of various sizes and ages and use them all regularly.  Most are devoted to a single task while others are swapped out based on the application. I have borrowed a friends PC 3.5 hp router for some big jobs and have been looking for one but I figure if I can get a festool for a good price, why not right?    If I can get accessories to make it work with my saw rails and vacuum it would be great.
