I hope not.  If so, they are really going to be mad at me.  I just got a Kapex.  I never knew just how much an innocent little compound sliding meter saw could do.  No more having to rouse my TS55 from its blissful slumber in it's comfy systainer just to crosscut a 2x4.  No more having to set up the MFT and dig out my parf dogs for a simple operation that the Kapex handles without breaking a sweat.  The Hammer slider is really in a tizzy.  Granted the Kapex can't cross cut 48" plywood or rip hardwood but there isn't a whole lot else it can't do.  Oh, I'm sure I will have to use the other tools but first I have a couple of 8' long 8/4 Purpleheart and Maple boards waiting for me to cross cut them on the Kapex to start on my cutting boards for Christmas gifts.  I was going to build a rolling miter stand but the LOML said no, I need to get the Ug stand and extensions.  What a shame, right?  I hate that when that happens...  [big grin] [big grin]

Heck, I would have let you stay in Plano if I knew you would buy a Kapex before the end of the year!

;D ;D ;D

im jealous lol...im sick of breaking out the the ts55 out of its sys and using the parfs for small cuts [crying]

Don't make the tools jealous! Sensitive souls they are, perhaps sheading a tear or two in their dark little systainers every time the Kapex gets fired up, the sound perhaps like mocking laughter to their ears.. For the sake of inter-tool relations, you'll have to make up projects where they all get something to do.. Maybe finish off with a clean up and maintain and a pat on the motor housing before returning them to their systainer homes happy because they feel needed and well used... [smile]

Howard,

This wasn't a post about tools getting jealous, it was an outright blatant gloat, finishing with a drive by gloat!!!  And.....you even managed to throw in a word on the Hammer.

Congrats on the wife, the KAPEX, and eventually, the UG stand!
