Does a longer rip fence for the CSC SYS 50 exist yet?

I've seen the TSO fence, but it's out of stock, but also, respectfully, very overpriced for what is essentially a piece of cheap aluminium profile.

I wonder if anyone has yet found a piece of aluminium extrusion that fits the nuts on the fence body.

This saw is begging for an actual solution to make more precise, longer cuts, but it seems every implementation involves a lot of jerry-rigging, or excessive investment. My best idea is to buy a second fence direct from Festool and then join them using bars, but even then, I don't know if a bar system to join to pieces of the fence actually exists that fits the 10mm internal profile of the fence.

If anyone knows of a decent solution, please post here!

Thanks!

Is there anything that precludes you from ripping a strip of MDF or PB and just clamping it on?

If you want to get fancy, you can even route a t slot at the appropriate height and replace the old fence, but that's more involved than just clamping it when needed.

Hey thanks for the reply. I know you're right, and I get the attraction of just making something in wood, but I am a bit of a completionist, and really want a solution that is metal, and in keeping with the rest of the fence body. I want something that will stand up to a bit more abuse.

There's also the add-on fence from Bow Products. It's a little bit pricey for what it is. Though I suspect you could just get some clamps and some aluminum extrusion (they have them at my local Woodcraft) and just make your own. Seems fairly straightforward.
