Does anyone make/sell MFT bench dogs which look like this?

Hi,
I would like a few bench dogs that have tall faces so I can stack two layers of 3/4" lumber and have them register on the face of the dog.

I already have a collection of the shape shown on the left, and I have some slip fit blocks that I use over them.

I would like to buy something like the shape shown on the right side of this illustration:

It seems like it could be easy to find a dog that has not had the extra metal machined away on the "top side", but I have not found them yet.

Does anyone sell such an item?

Thank you!

YES, - TSO has produced both styles  but the right hand image depicts the "BullDog" version for which we have a newer version in the works as we continue to expand our line of "Double Groove" Dogs and workholding products.

email me on our customer service channel referencing this FOG Thread and I'll fill you in and you can provide feedback (off-line)

Axminster Tools in the Uk sell bench dogs that are high. They have some with a small ring around them that will sit in a small miter at the top of a dog hole. They also have a taller locking Parf dog. They display your currency and shipping is good with all fees and no surprises calculated when you purchase.https://www.axminstertools.com/global/ujk-technology-50mm-guide-dog-105310

UJK Brand tools by AXMINSTER are stocked extensively by TSO Products in the US:

The right-side image in the first post looks very similar to the QWAS A-Dog.  Too bad these are no longer in production.

Hi,
Thank you to everyone for adding suggestions and comments.

Apparently there are several options, all of which seem to have been made available since the last time I looked, which was a while ago.

One thing that I have not found and would seem ideal to me is a dog that extends about 35mm or 1-3/8" above the MFT surface that way they would not interfere when I stack two layers of 3/4" plywood.

It seems there are several 40mm tall products and more that are even taller. 40mm (1.575 inches) is just a bit taller than ideal, but would still be very useful. 35mm would be even better. :-)

Thank you!

There are 4 like that in the set sold under the name "Clear Style" on Amazon. It's a pretty extensive set with some that are height adjustable too.

try these:https://www.sautershop.com/sauter-bench-dog-2-x-long-sa-vb-bdog-l  - then with the magnets in the guide rail slot you can easily register the guide rail against them as they are magnetic. The central 25mm part is 65mm long (there is a shorter model as well with the central part being 34mm long). Note that they are machines with two slightly different diameters for that section that is mounted into the MDF slab to allow for as little play as possible.
