FWIW...I just received the 6" guard that I'm using with a 6" cutoff blade. All the guard engagement notches are in the same position as the 4-1/2" & 5" guards, however the top center notch is about 1 to 1.5 mm longer. To install the 6" guard I used a taper drift to shorten the center notch.

So in order of appearance is the 6"...5"....4-1/2" cutoff discs along with a 5" Cubitron grinding disc that I use for lawnmower blade, axe/hatchet blade and shovel cutting edge sharpening.

2. I'm just making the center protruding notch shallower & smaller so that it slides on the collar. Here are a couple of photos.

Where are you located? Maybe these promo codes are region dependent? Like I said, I just received this code today, the previous codes for the last month have all been 10% deals...hardly something to shout about.  [smile]
