DOH! What's your worst/stupidest/most embarrassing Festool moment yet?

Using the domino I make relative plunges. So the sides are slightly asymmetric. Not a problem so long as I assemble them in the right order. Well I plunged some in the wrong order and now they will not go together. (The plunge depth isn't really a good match for the material so there is an offset from the side to the mortise. If I plunge the right way they line up if I screw up they don't. OH well some more scrap.

I was using my OF1400 attached to the guide rail on the MFT/3 and forgot to tighten the know on the guide rail attachment. The router veered of course and cut straight through a large section of the guide rail. Ruined guide rail a brand new 1/2" bit and the panel I was working on....I shouldn't start work in the morning before I've had my cup of coffee.
Been a while since i related any of my stupidity due to mistooks.
I had ordered and received from "Uncle Bob" a MFT 800 spare top that I was going to try to setup with a rectangular opening offset from the center so i could insert a router plate. I picked up a Jess-Em plate from my local toystore and started work on the "ingeneous" arrangement. I cut the hole into the MFT 800 perfectly. The plate fit so perfectly, it did not even need any help from leveling screws. for me, that was quite an accomplishment, as I was wondering how I could provide a solid enough base to use leveling screws in the first place.
I then measured to drill the holes in the plate to accept my router (non Festool for the table use). I then drilled all four mounting holes and checked against the brandnew router plate. Perfect!!!.
I then installed a 9/16" drill bit into the drill press to do the tapers to recess the flat head screws. By now, I was real excited and thinking about the words of my HS shop teacher so many years ago, "Ain't no such a thing es gud-a-nuff. Its gotta be purfic." Everything was moving along just "purfic" and I was about ready to install a router into my MFT router table.
About two minutes later, I was horrified. With that 9/16" drill bit, I had proceeded calmly to drill each hole ALL THE WAY THRU the router plate.
Anybody know of a shop sized router that uses 9/16" screws for mounting to a router table? [unsure][scared]
