Domino - 20mm Offset Jig for TSO Bigfoot

The author shows a shop built jig for use with the Bigfoot, used to achieve ~20mm offset, matching the OEM accessory flip stops.

I'm having trouble picturing the usage based on the provided image.

Can anyone help me understand how to use a jig of this nature to achieve the desired offset?

The  OEM  bracket has  flip stops  that  reduce  the off set  too  20mm  as explained  in  the  link.
Thats  easy  enough to understand.
The  TSO  doesn't have  this  feature.
Having  to  make  another  jig (that I have  no idea  how  it  fits  in)  for  another  jig that  was manufactured  to  replace  a festool  product  thats  supposedly  not up  to  standard  sounds  like  the  OEM  bracket  is  the  more  superior  one  to  use in  the  first place..

Clumsy as hell is how the tipster described his method. That I suppose means it isn't easy figure out how the jig works based on the info. provided.

They drop it through the center hole which is 50mm wide, 25mm to each side.  The prong is 5mm, so when it sticks down and bumps into the side of the board, that means they have a 20mm offset.

I have  a domino  and  still have  no idea  how  that  works.

A picture or sketch would be better to show how the jig is oriented in the opening. The photo in the link has no scale and I can't tell what part of the tongue is 5mm thick. To me, the width, not the thickness, is 5mm if the jig is used inside the opening.

If the jig is used in the opening, I'm concerned about precision as a stop if it's not fixed or screwed to the bigfoot.
