Just finished my first project using the Domino DF 500.
I could not have attached the shelf struts without it.

I used the OF 1400 mounted on the CMS/VL using the free-hand/pin assembly to route the profiles on the "S" struts.
The shelf is 1/2" Medex core with veneers of bird's eye maple field, seagrass mahogany border, and a filitti of holly an anigre.
The cleat and struts are sipo mahogany.

Festool makes it possible for a novice to complete more advanced projects.

I also made a new table top for an old coffee table.  The core is 3/4" Medex with a  5/4 walnut border.
Before purchasing the Domino I used a stile/rail set to attache the walnut edge to the Medex core. The after bagging the veneer I routed a profile on the edge exposing the walnut.
The veneers are double book match walnut burl, satinwood border, and a filitti of holly and mahogany.

I striped the base using Soy-Gel and refinished to match.

Beautiful work.

Nice tube amp as well!  Love the case on that!  What's the brand?

Thanks  [smile]

The Tube amp is a DG300B that I built.
The enclosure is figured maple with walnut legs.

Beautiful work!  I hope you don't consider yourself a novice based on those images.

Peter
Thanks
Notice there are no ultra closeups of veneer as there are worts.
I couldn't make a dovetail or M&T joint by hand if my life depended one it.

I'm with you on that - I can't even cut a shape out on paper with scissors without making a horrible mess [embarassed]
