Hello, I purchased a used Domino 500 is great condition.  The Domino alignment always seems to be off by 1-2mm so I decided to check alignment. When calibrating the plastic scale to baseplate the required adjusted was more than the scale would move to the required side.  This seemed odd so I checked the alignment of etching on base plate for curiosity.
The etching is not perpendicular to the cutting face.  I double checked this with several squares and got the same result.
Could this be throwing off the cutter and causing joints not be come out flush?

Thanks

That's interesting. I've had a similar problem with mine. I'm going to have to check my baseplate.

None of the lines etched on my baseplate are perpendicular all the way to the face. I have had no alignment or calibration issues with my DF500, and so I suppose only the very tips of the lines matter for references.
