Domino 500 out of alignment?

Started working w my domino and im hoping its user error but it seems the cut is coming out cocked. One pic is how its set up the other is result.  Thx in advance

The board itself seems to be cupped. Can you try it on something more flat, piece of MDF?

Or just flatten the boards you have with hand plane, jointer, or planner.

Besides trying it with a really nice flat reference to determine the error (like MDF, which just typing sends me into sneezing fits...), try this:

- Keep the fence up and locked when adjusting the fence height.
- After locking the height adjustment, you can tilt down the fence and lock it.

Mine (which is a first-gen pin-style Domino) will have slightly tilted mortises if I adjust the height with the fence not locked upright.
