domino 500,spacing tenons

just bought this tool . on the 700 videos i see pins in front for spacing the tenons . but the 500 does not have these .how do i space tenons one sfter the other . like 1/4" apart.
 
If you just bought a new 500, your fence should have "paddles" that flip down and can be used for referencing one mortise to the next.  The first iteration of the 500 fence had pins, then they changed it up to the paddle format.  It has been debated which is better.  It's interesting that the 700 has gone back to the pin format...

It was because festool had to change the 500 from pin to pedals due to copy right laws.

And I think it still not allowed to go for pins because if you look at the domino 700 they are still pedals but metal ones  so festool have not gone back to pins on the 700 like you mentioned

My apologies for the misinformation.  Where the heck did I get that impression from?  Must be confusing it with something else...  Sorry guys.
