So as I have become more and more skilled with this wanderous machine (domino 500) I have came to find that my view plate on my domino is about .5 + or - off. It appears if I use the 20 mm to line up on my edge from the right Otis actually some where around 19.5 and from the left it is 20.5. The machine works great if you use the flip stops or the base extenders however I have been using it to do a lot of edge to face joints lately and I depend on the rule through the view plate. Basically what happens is if I use pencil lines and line up the machine my joint is a mm off. I am in the middle of some extreme builds where I NEED the domino (I have become far to dependent, but it saves me so much time which is money). I know I can just loosen the little T10 screws that hold it down and self adjust. My main question is will I make the issue even worse or does anyone have any tips on how to fix it themselves? I appreciate the help anyone gives this was a revelation for me last night as I almost felt like throwing my $1000 tool in the garbage as it ruined an expensive piece of wood. I knew there was something weird with it but it had worked for me thus far and last night I glued the piece without a dry fit for the first time and it did not go well.
