I had not notice this in the Domino 500 Supplemental Manual or even in Paul's videos, from half inch shy, on the center height of the bit from the base. I know it's 10 mm, as Paul pointed out in his video, but the Domino has a place you can line up on for center, if your plunging into something like a panel. On the little top of the base, on the side of the unit where you plunge is 10mm high.

I didn't know that!  Many thanks - it will save me offsetting a line by 10mm.

Andrew

Thank you Shane, Surprised it didn't make it into the supplemental manual. I figured this out on my own. Think this would be a great addition to the Manual since lining up the Domino is key to using it successfully. :)

Anthony..you da man.  [not worthy]
I didn't know that either and use my domino a lot.  [eek]
I usually draw a 10mm line offset down from my shelf height.
This will also help greatly when I use dominos for adjustable shelf supports (should really get the LR32 system).  [tongue]

Glad I could help get the info out for those like me who did not see this feature right away. Going to look at the LR32 system as one of my next Festool purchases, but that looks to be a ways out.
