In recent months, my depth of cut has been off by 5-6 MM...too shallow.  I installed trim yesterday and had to  install 6' 1X4 around a square window.  I needed to use 5mm dominos on those joints.  They were  all too long.  This has been the case for a year now,....I've had this domino for 12-13 years and it's worked perfectly.  Has anyone else had this issue?..Ive checked all dimensions on each stop.  Could there be a spring that is broken??  I cleaned out all openings...any thoughts/??  What am I missing???

Very prescient.  That's exactly what it was.  I use it a lot when building cabinets.  At some point I hit a screw.  Good catch!!!it was my 5mm bit.

Many people on the FOG keep a spare 4 mm & 5 mm bit in their DF 500 Systainer because these bits can be easily damaged. I’m one of those people.

Interesting that you didn't notice that snug mortises were all way too narrow, which is the usual error that comes up when a domino cutter is shorter than it is intended to be...
