Hi all,
I'm sorry if there is a post addressing this issue already but I've not had luck finding it, I am new to the festool owners group.

I've recently purchased the domino 500 with the trim stop, I'm wanting to lock the angle fence at 45 degrees but the trim stop is stopping the lever from locking.

I assumed the screw on the lever if loosened would allow me to reposition the lever but it didn't.
In attempting this I've rounded off the head of the screw.

So really I've two questions...

1) how do I overcome the locking lever problem?
&
2) where can I get a replacement screw for that handle?

Please help

Welcome to the FOG!.  Sorry to read about your issue.  The lever can be repositioned by loosening the screw and then puling the lever off and repositioning.

Assuming I read your post correctly if you look at part 22 in the attached image you will see the hex end of the shaft that the handle attaches to.

The part number for the screw is 400211 and you should be able to get that thru a dealer or Festool UK directly by contacting their service department.

Thank you Peter!!

That's helped me out no end!! I'm really glad I joined this. It's the sort of thing I'd usually never get around to doing! It gets cold out there on your own!! Haha

Nice one m8!
