Excuse my bad English , I'm from Sweden.

I just bought myself a domino and with it came this QA-DF 500.It is like two black plastic wings you attach under the plate of your domino. The function is to repeat your cut so you don't have to look in the plastic window and measure it by hand.

My problem with these plastic pieces is that they don't  align horizontally with the bottom steel plate on the domino
I cant get them all the way up in the domino plate .About 1-2 mm is missing to be correct.
Problem no 2 is that when i pushed them up as hard as i could one is not horizontally. it points a bit down and that I assume could course a bit of a problem when using it later on.I mean the metall pieces are supposed to be placed in the rescent made hole and if its not this qa-df 500 should be at no use at all.

Does anyone else have this problem??

Mine are the same way. Dont lose too much sleep about it. All the pieces do is register the left and right position of the domino further then pins set in the metal base.

You still actually register the vertical and horizontal position of the domino with the metal base/fence while using the outriggers for greater domino registration.

Thanks allot!!
That was a relief to hear.I will sleep better now.
I thought for a while festool was trying to save some money making it with cheap materials and no precision (horrible thought).
Thanks also for this fine manual with authentic pictures.
