Has anybody used the domino with OSB?  I want to make a rough model of a project, but don't want to try on good materials at first, and I have scrap OSB I want to use up.

Hi

I have not tried it but would think the mortises would not be nice/good considering the compound of the board.
Don't know if the cutter might get damaged since there might be a mix of hard and soft wood in it.
I personally would use a bradnailer for a rough model. Saving both dominoes and risking a busted bit.
But I'm just guessing here.  [scratch chin]

oriented strand board.

Works fine.  Plunge a little slower to prevent chip out of the strand on the surface.

Because of your sage advice!  It's official, I am going to find some scrap, test on some scrap, and see if it doesn't turn out like crap.

Second the advice on the brad-nailer. Wouldn't wanna waste expensive dominoes on a modell. If you need more experience using your Domino, thass another matter...

I assume ( I know, I know) that he won't glue the dominos in and will just reuse them...
