Not to distract the other thread, I'm posting here how I do through tenons/exposed tenons, using a dovetail alignment jig.

A dovetail alignment jig is used to transfer tails to pins in hand-cut dovetails (last image). If you aren't familiar with it, Google David Barron dovetail alignment jig.

step 1 - Secure mating boards to jig (for 6mm dominoes, set depth to 28mm for 3/4" stock) -- pretend no mortises in the image
step 2 - Plunge to mortise in tight setting
step 3 - Remove side; reset depth to 20mm and mortise face board (endgrain) again
step 4 - Dry fit
step 5 - Glue, clamp and check for square
step 6 - Six new jigs (base) are ready (they are made for someone else).

As long as the paddles (edge stops) on the machine are accurate, no placement lines are needed in the whole operation (see step 2).

yup its quick and easy, been doing it for a while.

Got a idea for a jig haven't it made it yet looks simular to yours

Please share an image of your version when built.

Elsewhere, I read posts in which people have had issues with the paddles and chose to use pencil/placement lines instead of fixing the paddles. If my DF500 had that kind of issue, by hook or by crook, and no matter how much time I'd need to fine-tune them, I'd get the paddles (or pins for the old type) to work perfectly.

We don't accept the blade running non-parallel to the miter slots on the table saw, why would we tolerate the essential paddles being out of precision? Accurate paddles are critical for using the cross stop accessory.

To complete the jigs, fences are screwed to the bodies. Along with another table saw jig I've built, these are ready for pick-up.

All I do is use my MFT, Clamp one piece to the table (horizontal) the other to the side of the mft (vertical) light tap them with a hammer get them in alignment like a dove tail jig would do then domino it.

My jig which Ill make once the shop is shop up will be a 2 pieces of ply or MDF with stops (pieces of wood) screwed longitudinally with clamps to clamp the pieces to the jig and domino.
Pretty simple really.
Could also just go to craigslist, ebay, harbor fireight etc find cheap/ old dove tail jig and use that
