Domino pins

I have the old style Domino with the steel retractable pins. The question is. Can they be retracted or easily removed? The get in the way more than I use them.

I don't use mine for anything.  I just pushed them in and then put a strip of clear packing tape over them.  The do stick out a bit, but once you press down, they behave.

Just a cheap idea that is easily reversible if you want them.

I blogged about a set of spacers you can use on the pins that, honestly, makes assembling something even faster and all without pencil marks.

I used to not like the pins much as they were usually in the way.  Now, I use them constantly.

Those spacer looks like just what I need. I'm going to see if I can find them. In the meantime I guess I'll try the packing tape.  Thanks guys.
