This might be old news, but as a new Domino convert, it's new news to me.
I had to repair Domino slots at each end of 16 face frame pieces. I had not tightened the fence on the Domino sufficiently and it had crept upward with each slot. What a mess! I filled the holes with carefully shaped Domino tenons and then mounted the Senaca Woodworking plate to the Domino.
This plate automatically sets centers the cutter for either 3/4 or 1/2 inch stock.
It's a tad awkward to use, but lets the Domino cut absolutely perfectly centered slots. You have to use the Domino upside down. Sounds hard, but gets easier after a couple of cuts.
