F festup Member Joined Jan 10, 2008 Messages 40 Mar 8, 2015 #2 What are you joining? Is it a rail to a leg? If so, I'd use 2 5mm across the width. Two will resist racking force better than one. If it's side by side, I'd think one 8mm would suffice.
