Since a few months I own (bought new at a physical dealer) a DF 700, and when using it I subsequently get horizontal misaligned mortises.

I tried several plunge speeds (climb cutting thing), different bits, and I'm not able to get a flush result.

Please see attached pictures.

The workpieces I used are planed on a Felder AD 741 and are dead flat and square.

I already investigated my technique by using my DF 500, outcome of the joints is perfect.

I'm having the idea that my DF 700 is misalligned somewhere.

Before going to the dealer, it's still within the warranty period, I would like hear your opinion/advice.

Kind regards,
Gijs

Although I haven't experienced this with my 700, I have had the height adjustment lever and setting work loose on my 500 Domino. Others have had that happen to them as well on the 500.  Maybe it's a similar thing with the 700 model?  Now I want to go home and study my 700 a bit.... [blink]

Paul mentions something similar in his video here - at time 2:25.  He talks about setting the fence height with the fence locked up and then lowering it, otherwise he has had the fence set itself crooked.
