Sorry, I missed your question. I dunno. No ETA yet. Typically, we get stuff 6+ months after Europe.

Got to use one last January when it was still a prototype. Smooth operation, great new features. It's a great tool.

Have we established how deep the mortises are?  It looks like the stroke on the thing is about 2.5" based on the video, so I'm thinking you've got at least a 2" mortise depth.

The mortise is a lot deeper and more material is being routed out.

No, the dust is escaping because of the rebate so the face of the Domino isn't in full contact, that's letting the some dust get away.

I asked for the smallest cutter to be used with DF 700 and the answer was "8 mm".  I can also hardly imagine that the same small screw thread can hold the 14 mm bit...

Maybe 'cause the Domino was not flush with the workpiece in the video.  It was placed against the rabbet, so there was plenty of room for the dust to escape...

Check out the stops built-in to the the fence, pretty close to pins.  At least it sure looks like you can index from a mortise again.

It looks like a great multi-stop system.

Would be nice if they would incorporated it in to the Normal Domino DF500, instead of the additional stops on the plastic add-on base.  Most likely not possible due to the thickness of the plate

You can bet your bottom dollar that it will be coming to the US.  There's far too much money making potential for it not to.  The question will be when, my guess, fall of 2012.

Just under 2K is my guess, and that doesn't include the bits....

It will probably be comparable in price to the OF2200.  That's just a guess by the way.  Maybe we should ask Guy, he seems to be in the know somehow  [bite tongue] [poke]
