Domino XL fence out of alignment

Bought a very lightly used xl recently and it appears the fence is out of alignment.  When I lock the fence in the 90 degree position the right side of the fence is about half a mil higher than the left side of the fence.  It seems with better technique I can mitigate this misalignment.

My question, can it be realigned, or is this an acceptable tolerance, and if so whats the best technique for accurate mortising?
Thanks.

Bub254,
Please contact our service department and they will get it in and take a look at it.

Thanks for the reply but I think I was just setting the fence wrong, and using an inaccurate method of measuring the fence.  I tried again using a digital caliper and left the fence up, then set the height and returned the fence to 90 and it was even within    hundredths of a millimeter.

Goes to show that if your trying to assess a precision machine you had better use precision instruments.  Thanks again.
