Domino XL Issues

So I just bought a new Domino XL, and it's making a pronounced clicking sound. I haven't used it yet. It was delivered last night. I plugged it in, just to fire up the motor one time before going to bed. And it was making a pronounced clicking sound that i don't remember hearing before. I should've prefaced this by stating that I've owned a Domino XL in the past,  but that was several years ago.  I was just starting out
in woodworking and experiencing the initial symptoms of the Festool sickness (My wife calls it the Green Fever). The Domino XL was the third tool I purchased. I quickly realized that I had made an impulse purchase, and didn't actually need it yet.  So back to WoodCraft it went.  I only used it a handful of times,  but I just don't remember it sounding this way.  I remember it sounding like a router, which of course it is... kinda.  At any rate,  I still have 29 days to return it. But im hoping someone here knows something i don't. Which in my experience, is ALWAYS the case. You guys are so knowledgeable. This forum is my number 1 resource for all things woodworking and tools.  So thank you in advance for any help you can offer.  I have waited a long time to buy this tool... a second time.  The idea of waiting another week or so to get a replacement is frustrating to say the least. Not as frustrating as having it break and not being able to return it though.  So I'm certainly grateful for that.  Anyway,  I hope everyone has a great weekend.  Thanks again for any thoughts,  tips, or tricks you may have.

In case the extra sound has not vanished after operating the mortice width lever twice (back and forth)... a video might help us tell you more.

Or let it do a trip through Festool service - as it should not click.

Thank you for responding so quickly.  I can certainly post a video.  As for servicing it,  I spoke with Festool customer service this morning. The guy I spoke with was very helpful and recommended that I take advantage of the 30 day return policy. Now that I have confirmation that it shouldn't be clicking, I'm just going to exchange it for another one. I really don't want a 1500 dollar tool that needed to be fixed on day 1. That sounds like the beginning of a long term headache.  Im just thankful I bought it from a Festool dealer.  I had considered buying a used one.  But decided that a full warranty was worth the additional cost.
