Can the larger domino's be pinned with a through dowel or as a drawbore? I have some benches to build and want to use them to add structure to the backrest. Thanks

An excellent reference. It assisted me greatly when breadboarding a Mountain Ash laminated bench just over two years ago, although I used a D500 rather than router.

I shoot through the Dominos on both sides of the joint with 5/8"- 18ga brads in 3/4" stock. I mainly do this with paint grade work. It works great and reduces the clamping time as long as it's a tight joint without gaps. I've used this technique on moulding, small doors, and counter edging. I haven't tried pegs yet, but will give them a try.
Cheers
Curt
