Using a dowel draw die

I ran across this a while back and thought about your Christmas toy venture.  [smile]  Maybe you should contact RR and enquire about subcontracting the wooden bodies for them.  [big grin]

They refer to this model as their Rolls-Royce Cameo. These gems go for $5800...who'd have thunk? The ad copy is worth reading as it's quite an interesting piece...certainly made me chuckle a few times.

Well, possibly too extravagant for underprivileged children.  Are they going to imagine owning a Rolls Royce, when they free lunch at school after having no breakfast going out the door to catch the bus to school?

I made some really nice A6 size flower presses that I’m not certain I will give to the charity to distribute.  I made it as a kit with everything they need to press flowers.

But once they have pressed the flowers, they have to buy glue, decoupage supplies, picture frames, note cards and envelopes, etc. in order to use the pressed flowers.

Will the flower presses be a source of joy and self-fulfillment?  Or will it be a source of of frustration or despair?
