Domiplate how does it work

I bought the xl a few weeks ago,  I know this has probably been asked a zillion times , what does the plate do?

It just screws to your base where the plastic support normally fixes. It gives you a solid fixed fence set for either 1/2" material or 3/4" if you flip it. So when you rest the plate on your material it will plunge in the centre. This helps people who have complained about fence movement. The original fence then works as a stabilizer the same way the plastic one does.

My son bought me one to use on my Domino 500 a couple months ago.  Doing a cabinet project with it.  I love it for both plywood and also just as well for 1/2 and 3/4 inch solid wood. Super accurate and very easy to use.  Highly recommended as money well spent.
