Domiplate Order Thread

The www.senecawoodworking.com store is live and I just ordered my Domiplate.  (I looks to me like Woodpecker fabricates it for Ron.)

Thanks for the compliment!  While we don't have our products fabricated by Woodpeckers, those guys do a great job and that's the level of quality we're striving for.

Just an update for everyone:  Unfortunately we're out of the hardware kit parts - but more should be in stock hopefully this week.  In the meantime if anyone needs hardware, screw dimensions are posted on the senecawoodworking.com site and also in the pdf attached at the beginning of this thread. 

Things are selling faster than I anticipated and the plates will probably be out of stock within a few days...but we have another bigger batch in production.  I just want to thank everyone for all the support and for your patience while we go through the learning curve of operating an online store and maintaining inventory.

I placed an order including the Hardware Kit on the 17th.  Will you ship out just the plate separately from the Hardware Kit?  I don't want to miss out on this round of DomiPlates as I've been eagerly awaiting them to become available!  I would be happy to just get the plate and cancel the Hardware Kit and make due with parts that I already have.  Please let us know how you're handling things.

I didn't mean to cause confusion:  at this point anyone who has placed an order for the hardware kit (including you -  order #1010) will receive it.  The site tracks inventory of the things we sell and consequently won't let anyone order something we don't have in stock  Domiplates are still available and if we do sell out, the same thing will happen; the website won't allow anyone to place an order until they are back in stock.

Everyone who ordered late Friday and over the weekend will get shipped on Tuesday (since Monday is a postal holiday).

I got my shipping confirm today so I assumed this was the case, but thanks for the clarification.  Keep up the good work.  I can't wait to get the new Domino Accessory.  Thank you to you and to the others on the board that work so well together to make this system even better than it is on it's own.  Good 'ole American ingenuity!

Thanks Sal but no worry, that is hard anodized so it will continue looking good even with heavy use.

I agree with Ron, my Inca tablesaw top was hard anodized aluminum and it looked great after 25 years of rough use. I sold it 10 years ago for the same price I originally paid for the saw and it looked new!

Ron, As soon as I start my next kitchen project I'll be ordering one myself.

Ron got my plate yesterday, pretty cool. Looks like customs just had to open the box, pull the Festool knob apart and check it for contraband. [big grin] Pretty funny.

The plates will be available again this week! Probably on Thursday.
