I want to introduce everyone to a project I've been working on for awhile, the DomiRail. This allows you to securely connect your Festool Domino DF 500 & 700 to your Festool or Makita guide rail and make straight consistent plunge cuts in your material.

Here in the states it's hard to find 5mm thumb screws that I liked since our options are limited so I made a set of custom knurled thumb screws that uses a 5mm stainless steel bolts to attach to the domino base plate. I'm in the processes of making an accessory that will allow you to register this with a LR32 rail to make repeat plunges.

If you guys like it I have it posted for sale on ToolCurve and soon my own site.

I would love to hear any feedback and what you guys think.

John

I think the addition of stops possibly with a lr32 rail so you could also get repetitive spacing would be worth looking into

I actually have 2 things in the works, one is a set of stops that you can lock in anywhere on the rail for repeat cuts, the second is a jig that will go based off the LR32 holes so you can use the LR32 boards for exact repeat measurements.

Along with the DomiRail I also launched railstops that work similar to the standard Festool anti kickback stop which turns your guide rail into a story stick so you can set exact locations for reference when using the DomiRail.

This is a nice setup.  Use a TSO rail square with this and you really never need dadoes again and it is fast.

I do not see these in your Etsy site.

Pull down the option menu, you can order the Domirail and the stops together for $59.95.
Nice, just ordered.
I saw that after I posted.  But what if someone would want more than 2.

ToolCurve also has an eBay shop. Not sure who takes a bigger cut from the sale between eBay and Etsy (I'm guessing eBay), but that's an option. The stops are listed as a separate paired item on the eBay shop, for both Makita and Festool rails, $24.95/pair.

There's also a "Contact Shop Owner" link on Etsy that I'd imagine is a direct line to ToolCurve and if you wanted/needed a special grouping or additional items separately, you may be able to accomplish it through that link as well, just maybe not instantaneously.

I have no affiliation with the seller, just trying to help close the gap on the questions.

They are available on Etsy. They are green in the promo and come in two depths. Pull up the Domirail then scroll down to list of similar stuff that is available.

I have them listed here or you can send me a message on Etsy. I have been working on finishing my my website and it will be available by the end of the next week which will make things a lot easier. John
