My small (9’x12’) shop is getting overcrowded...and since I can not change its size I decided to finally build some cabinets. I will be building base cabinets which will hold my Systainers and above I would like to build a cabinet for my glues and finishes. Since my shop is located in the basement, temperature and humidity is controlled so I am not planning to do anything special. I will be using the LR32 kit and I am debating the dimensions of the wall cabinet. I am thinking about 12” deep, 30”x30” rounded to satisfy 32mm standard, but am I not sure if the width and height is good? I will have a double door and no drawers
Thanks

One more question, with 30” width, would I need to have a center piece to prevent sagging? I will be using 3/4” birch ply.
Thanks

with 3/4" Birch you will have no problem with sagging -  unless you plan to store boxes of drawer slides and screws. Using the LR-32 System is a great way to go.
12 inches is plenty deep for small storage. It is so hard to reach anything behind the first item and even more so once you get up past eye level.

RipDog/RMW  recently posted a thread with detailed pictures about his ingenious  very small shop.Look it up on the FOG - it may inspire you.

good luck!
