Here is a free library fabricated in the style of a tardis, a  key element in the Dr. Who universe.
It was commissioned by a local neighborhood association. When you do something for a neighborhood association just remember the whole neighborhood has an opinion....

I am just constantly amazed at how much room is in one those things  [wink]

That's a cool project.  I was a big Dr Who fan of the Tom Baker years growing up in my teens.

I've got no use for one, but now I've got to build one. Great work, thanks for sharing!

I do not really want to lower the tone but...

After many years of taking a shovel for a walk the British Army decided it was time that we stopped digging, dumping and burying and they introduced the use of the mobile lavatories seen on building sites and used, I am sure, the world over. They were about the same shape and not far off the same size as the Tardis. They were affectionately referred to as a "Turdis".

We put the bikes on the car and took a fairly long journey westwards to Bath here in the UK. There is a great, mainly traffic free, cycle route along an old railway line that goes all the way to Bristol. On the cycle route is a brilliant café run by an enterprising group of ladies and they have a real Tardis, just like the real thing, in the middle of the café grounds. It is their loo.
