Hey everyone,
I am new to WW and have been away from my woodworking shop for the past five weeks. I just finished the shop with all the big tools in place and the dust collection finished, Finally! My first project is an outfeed table for my TS. Then I want to tackle a workbench with drawers and doors. At least that's the plan. Here is one shot of my shop.

I have checked this site for a similar situations as mine but have only so much time and no luck. Pardon me if there is, and probably so.
What I want to do is to incorporate the Festool Systainers into full extension drawers. I checked Festool's website and it shows that each systainer is 15 5/8" L X 11 5/8" D x Height. The height varies depending which tool you have.
I have been reading about cabinet manufacturing and have seen some of them on this forum where people have generally put two in a drawer. So you would have then still a 15 5/8" across the drawer front and 11 5/8" X 2 systainers deep. Like the one below belonging to Mavdog.

The problem I have is most people build their cabinets to 24" deep-the standard. But if you lay out as I just mentioned then my dimentions are like this. Two systainers deep: 11 5/8" X 2 = 23 1/4" and the length of a systainer is 15 5/8".
So to round up a bit and allow for space, error, etc the inside measurement of the drawer is 24" deep and 16" wide. Using 1/2" plywood for the drawer box, then the drawer dimension is 25" D X 17" W.
So the slides that I have before me are 24", 26" and 28". With a 25" drawer can I put it on a 26" slide and adjust my cabinet depth to 26 1/2" or do I make the drawer match the length of the slide (26") and then go from there.
I have no experience in this so Help! [unsure]
