I was asked by Kristian from Denmark if I had any drawings I could post for stairs in my Stair building almost step by step thread, well I have some that I have converted into PDF files so the viewer can zoom in and out of them easily.
They vary in detail to suit the job requirements and clients wishes, sometimes I show nosing lines and riser lines but other times just riser lines for setting out purposes.
First up is a plan and elevation drawing for a commercial unit. It shows a straight flight to a landing then a shorter windered flight to the mezzanine floor. The landing is only there due to our UK regulations.
Plan & Side Elevation
The next is for an old private house main stair over a basement stair with a new door access to basement.
Private Dwelling
The next four are from a London restaurant complex covering three floors. One has metal balustrades, the next wooden square balusters and the top flight is a helical or geometric stair, all of which had to line up with each other. Not all the newels are square in these.

I rarely do 3D renderings of the stairs due to time and cost constraints, clients rarely want to pay the extra.
During conversion from Autocad DWG to PDF some lines got thicker and others fainter, this is an ongoing issue with the Adobe writer that is pre-installed to Acad. The fainter lines usually get darker when you zoom in though! I tried CutePDF but that kept saving the drawings rotated at 90° to the printed view!
Hope these are of interest to some of you, thanks for looking in.
