Im looking to purchase a cordless jigsaw (psc420) and a drill (T18+3) The cheapest way of doing it is to purchase them both together in a set but you don't get any of the extras, I was looking for some advise in the best way to purchase these two tools.
I would like the drill set with all the chucks, but then I would have to buy the tools separately. Is it possible to buy a jigsaw body only because that would be a good option.
Does anyone have any experience with this.

You can't buy the jigsaw body only unfortunately.

What you can do is buy the chucks separately. They're 91.38 pound each. DD-AS DD-ES

Thanks for the help Alex, the thing is by the time you buy the two extra chucks its not far from the price of the t18+3 plus set and a separate jigsaw, if you buy them separate you get 3 battery's instead of two in the combo and you get two chargers and the smaller systainers.

That's true. Another option might be to buy both tools separately and then sell one charger and one battery. And perhaps one systainer. You could get 200 pounds back.

Not sure if you've gone out and bought these yet!!  But you can now buy tool only sets like what your after world wide.
Some shops now offer build your own Cordless Sets too and can pick which accessories, chucks, batteries and chargers you .want too

So you could get something like the T18i + 3 set (with chucks, batteries and charger) and the PS420 tool only_in Systainer (no batteries or charger).
My fav resource in the UK are the guys from DM-Tools.com in Twickenham

I got a bare 420 in a systainer - I'm pretty certain it's a standard product line ... wouldn't have thought it was specially for Oz.

Well, they don't show it on the Festool NL, UK or DE sites. Here only the SET and PLUS versions are shown. The Australian site does show the bare GG version. You lucked out there.

@Bazg, any update on what you decided to do?

I decided to go with the combo set in the end and I am extremely happy with it, I like the systainer with the accessories compartment on the top
