Drill Bit Sets for Attic Systainers - Still Available?

I recently purchased the PDC 18/4 drill set (full set - including the systainer), and while it hasn't been life-changing, it's been close.  During purchase my local supply shop was showing me some of the centrotec masonry bits and they pulled out the masonry bit set - #769096.  I love how it snaps into the attic systainer for my drill, and immediately asked the employees if they carried wood bit sets or anything similar.  They said "good question" and we hunted around without much luck.

Fast forward to today, and I learned that Festool did in fact make at least three additional sets to fit the systainers, those being:
#769093 - 6 Piece Brad Point Drill Bits
#769095 - 6 Piece Long Driver Bits
#769094 - 24 Piece Driver Bits

I'm most interested in the wood bit set - #769093 - but would also be interested in the other two sets as well.  I know some other FOG members have purchased them in the past.  Can any festool USA guys tell me if they're still available, and if so, what stores may have them?

Thanks in advance.

Those particular sets are not available in the US. At the present moment, we do not have plans to introduce them here. Let me know if I can help you with anything else.

It appears that sets whose article number (#) starts with 789 are compatible with the attic systainer, while the ones starting with 49 can have any shape but (eg. swing out and such). Wish I had discovered that before I bought three sets that don’t fit the attic… : ((

It's not for drill bits, bit if you're interested, Tanos also makes a hex shank bit storage tray that fits the attic lids and it's available at Lee Valley.

Those are the tray units that the attic lid bit sets come in. They snap into T-Loc attic lids.  The rotating holders that are in the tray can be easily removed allowing space to accommodate longer bits.

Thanks for pointing that out, Seth.  Good to know.

You can buy all three of them from a UK Festool dealer. BUT they are dam expensive with international shipping. They are also available on Amazon UK but not the long driver bits will not ship to USA. The drills and bits will ship to USA.

I ordered mine from Amazon.de, just got it last week, $40 shipped.

This set with long driver bits -https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00EZ0GVXQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It says that it doesn't ship to USA, but there seems to be a bug on Amazon.de that lets you purchase items like this once they run out of stock. Then the option to ship to USA becomes available. You just have to wait until the item is back in stock after you place your order.

They have wood drill bit set in stock, ships to USA.

Another possible source for the bit holders - if the Amazon thing doesn't work out for you - is Vantainer in the UK
http://www.vantainer.com/hex-bit-holder-for-sort-tray-735-p.asp

They're under 20 dollars apiece inc. VAT if bought here (but could be less, I don't know how the taxes work if buying from the US); the delivery charges would, of course, be a bit silly if just buying a couple of those, but they have a load of Tanos and Systainer-related stuff, inserts, Kaizen foams, some special offers and a number of items that don't seem so easy to find elsewhere.

Hope that might be useful to someone...
