Dust collection for Multitool

I realized today that the 27mm hose fits perfectly into the port on my Bosch planer, it was absolutely wonderful to trim down some filler strips in the house with no dust!

I then had a few cuts to make with my multitool and found myself holding the hose in one hand and the tool in the other to catch the dust. Has anyone here come up with something to connect the hose to a multitool with some type of hood?

Fein uses a thin molded plastic tube that pulls dust in near the shaft/spindle of the Multimaster and routes it next to the body and toward the back. While not as efficient as Festool designs, it works ok in some jobs depending on what you're doing with the Fein MM. The 27mm standard AS Festool hose will hook up to it.
If you look at one as your starting point, it might help with your own tool.
The biggest weakness in their design is that the further you get away from the spindle/shaft, the less dust is captured. With offset attachments in the Fein MM, this can put you pretty far away... [crying]

Most brands sell such an accessory for their multitool. What type and brand do you have?

I'm almost afraid to say [unsure] I have a great appreciation for high quality tools but this is one area I have gone with cheap. It is a $30 tool from a place here is the states called Harbor Freight Tools. I have had it for over two years now, use it a few times a week and can't ask for anything more out of it.

I may have to take a look at some of the dust collection setups for the others to either adapt it to what I have or come up with my own.

No shame needed. I use an air tool version of your electric gem from Harbor Freight as well. I bought Imperial Blades for it, or a Fein blade or two. Works great and was only $30 from HF. My Fein MM stays home with me as it's a bit large for really tight quarters when compared to my pneumatic tool.
