Ok, first of all. I'm not invested in any one tool system yet, I have tools from a variety of colors.  As my remodeling business picks up, my standard rigid wet/dry vac isn't cutting it for dust removal in my clients home.  I'm seriously considering the CT-Midi for dedicated dust extraction.  But I am also doing more concrete work so would a DE like the Bosch VAC090AH which is both osha silica dust certified and the EPA RRP certified be better suited for my needs? I really like the whole festool system concept and plan on picking up at least 1 festool sander.

Festool CT vacs are HEPA certified, they will work for RRP jobs (with the exception of the CT36 AC).  The CT36 AC is a pulse style vac, however, it doesn't come with a HEPA filter so it is not HEPA certified.  If OSHA and RRP compliance is important to you then you may be better served with the Bosch.

CT48's sold out in the USA the month that the OSHA rules hit.
Festool, Bosch, Nilfisk, Milwaukee, Starmix, Metabo, Hilti; are all going to get you there.

The one tip I can give you if you ever go with a Festool CT. Make sure you get the NEW hose.
