This is a bit embarrassing to say, but I have no idea now how I ended up with the Dust Extraction Hood in my 1010 kit -- maybe it came with the kit? Maybe I ordered it thinking it was the chip guard [437307] (which is what I actually need, since it attaches to the edge guide, and so I've since ordered it)? Anyway, are there any applications for the Dust Extraction Hood other than for use on the VS600? If not, I'll probably discount it for sale to another FOGGER.
EDIT: Just realized that it could have a potential use paired up with the Leigh D4R -- but I actually have the VRS attachment, which, in addition to providing pretty good dust collection, also lends added stability to the router -- so I'm not sure I would ever want to go with the Dust Extraction hood over what the VRS gives me.
