Dust Extraction - OF 1400 35mm HingeCup drilling

Any idea how to connect the dust extraction hose while drilling 35mm Hingecup with OF1400 and LR32. I m not able to attach the small plastic insert for 35 mm hinge cup hole drilling. Diameter of the same is less than 35 mm.

Am I missing something? Please advise.

You have to partially plunge the bit and set the plunge lock. There is a sliding "door" on the clear plastic dust shroud - open it. That gap that is created will slide over the flats on the spindle so you can mount the shroud.

Don't forget to close the door and don't forget and unplunge all the way or the bit will finish your dust collection permanently.

Oh yeah! we got to be extra cautious like you mentioned not to unplunge all the way   [scared]

yeah same from me just remember to not raise the 35mm bit too high and cut the hood. Also remember to cut at the lowest speed on your router.
