My latest shop project is this Dutch Tool Chest made from Popular Woodworking's article.  Still have to paint it and decide just how I want to arrange the inside, but I'm very happy with it.  I've also started making a bottom chest to match it.

Thanks.  I'll post a few more pics after I get it painted and some tools in it.

Looks really good.
What kind of wood did you use?

I'm not usually a fan of knotty pine, but in this case it seems to 'fit'. I'm anxious to see it finished.

Do you plan to distress/age it as well?

It's made from "the big box store" pine.  That is the whole thing about this tool chest, it's easy and cheap to make.  It uses regular 1x12 pine.  If you really get after it you could build one in a couple of days.  Only time is spent hand cutting the dovetails on the bottom. Download the digital copy of Popular Woodworking Oct 13 issue.  It has plans for making the small (like mine) and a large Dutch Tool Chest.  As for the inside, I'm still working on how I will do that part.  Check out the Lost Art Press blog and look for dutch tool chest and you can see how Chris layed his out.

I also built the small bottom unit that Chris came up with.  Here are a couple of pics of it altogether, still not painted and still don't have the top area setup for tools but I'm getting there.
