A contact cement like (epoxy) glue that's better than contact cement for certain jobs:

I use it to attach magnetic bit holders (magnets) to my cordless drills and leather pads to C-clamps, etc. Great for plastic to metal, leather to metal and more, even in extremely cold shop environment (e.g. -30 C). I allow 72 hours for max. strength. Do not use it on Styrofoam.

I keep a tube around, very handy stuff.

Originally started using to tack down wiring and crossover internals on loudspeaker builds but find lots of uses elsewhere.

Strong and seems a tiny bit flexible.

Another great adhesive is Gorilla Clear Grip.  I just used it last week to reattach a weather strip on the back window of my Expedition when I found that Ford doesn't sell replacement weather strips (one has to buy an entire window glass if the weather strip gets damaged).  The Gorilla Grip Clear was $5.70 vs. $381+ for the rear window.  Easy choice...

E6000 has been around for quite a while. I used to use it for holding together the lexan bodies on radio controlled cars. Not the Radio Shack variety, either. These were the .21 cc engine nitro methane powered monsters.

Oh about 30 years ago, we were moving a pull ripper with a caterpillar D2 which normally doesn’t pull it. When we were unloading it off the trailer, part of the ripper collided with the fuel tank a put a 1” slash in it. It was during the spring cut and we didn’t have time to put the D2 out of service for any length of time. Once we got the diesel level below the leak. I cleaned it off real well and smeared some of the E6000 on it and worked it in the crack. It held up for a few months. That’s stuff is great.
It also comes in different velocities and sizes. The salesman said even in a fifty gallon drum.
They can seal (line)inside of garbage trucks

I missed this thread when it was new.

Before QVC put me out of business, I assembled high grade cz earrings (traditional settings) an high grade casual jewelry made with Swarovski crystal stones.  The Swarovski pieces I glued together with E6000.

For non-porous to non-porous surfaces it would be my adhesive of choice.  I refer to it as “silicone adhesive on steroids”.  A much stronger bond than silicone adhesive but retaining that same flexibility.

It also resists heat and can be used to make emergency repairs on clothing.  It can withstand many laundry cycles. Good stuff.
